Details: SUMMARY: Nitrate exceed 50% of MCL DETAILS: Received alert on 12/15/09 for nitrate at 5.7ppm. Consulted with Daniel Hough at state and system is to begin quarterly sampling of nitrate beginning 1st quarter 2010 for one year. After one year, system will return to annual sampling. After consulting with state, spoke with Steve Schalk and explained the situation. Steve understands fully the situation and will begin quarterly sampling of nitrate in January 2010 ACTION NEEDED: Begin quarterly sampling of nitrate in January 2010
