| Details: | SUMMARY: Follow up on Nitrate alert DETAILS: I spoke to Rodney about Nitrate detection of 10.8 mg/L on Oct 6th. Nitrate has been detected above 10 but less than 15 mg/L since Oct 2008. Rodney said Tier I public notice is still posted at locations around the Mill. System providing bottled water for employees. Rodney indicated no children or pregant mothers currently at Mill. ACTION NEEDED: System to continue posting public notice, and will discuss issue at upcoming monthly staff meeting with employees. System to continue to research Nitrate treatment options, including point of use for select faucets that are commonly used , such as those in the breakroom and the kitchen. Quarterly monitoring of Nitrate to continue. | ||
