| Details: | SUMMARY: Calven called to inquire about assessment monitoring under the Groundwater Rule (GWR) DETAILS: Calven called to inquire why he received a letter requiring Quincy Water Association to begin source water assessment monitoring under the Groundwater Rule. I looked up the Source Water Assessment Report (SWA) and it indicated that the well construction for well #2 (COLU2654) was inadequate since the seal only extended 27-ft, allowing the co-mingling of an unconfined and confined aquifer. He understood and said he would begin sampling per the letter and I told him I would send him a copy of the SWA report. He provided me with an updated mailing address and phone number for the sysem, which was entered into SDWIS. ACTION NEEDED: DWP to send copy of the SWA to Calven Shulda at Quincy. Quincy to begin source water assessment monitoring - raw water monthly coliform sampling for one year. | ||
