| Details: | SUMMARY: emerald valley wellfield-abandoned DETAILS: Mike emailed me on 1/14/09 and said Roy Sprout has decided that the Emerald Valley Wells (EP-A) should be listed as "Abandoned". I made changes in SDWIS to reflect this and let them know I would be making the changes. The emerald valley wellfield had the highest consentration of Arsenic in all the cities wells. Since the new membrane WTP was installed in 2009 the city has re-plumbed the garden lake wellfield (previously called EP-B) to now flow through the membrane plant and blend with the surface water prior to entering the distribution system. I have combined the old EP-C with the EP-B and now abandoned EP-A. The only EP is now called EP-B, where all well water and surface water enter the distribution system. ACTION NEEDED: none. | ||
