| Details: | SUMMARY: response to LCR Corrosion Control excursion DETAILS: During a 1/19/10 site visit, Jim and I discussed the December 6, 2009 pH excursion reported on the monthly form. System records pH continuously and typically records the average value for the day on the monthly compliance sheet as required. Power was out during this time, meaning that there was no record of pH during a brief period on 12/6, between 7 am to 8:30. Values for pH are above 7.0 before and after this outage. Balance of 12/6 (22.5 hours) of continuous pH data is recorded on computer, and Jim will retrieve daily report for 12/6 when replacement computer arrives - old computer broke. ACTION NEEDED: Jim to send James balance of 12/6 pH data to DWP (me). I will review and if data complies with minimum 7.0 pH, I will request invalidation of pH excursion for 12/6 from DMCE. Systes would likely incur monitoring and reporting violation for late reporting. DWP to follow up with system and provide support until alert resolved. | ||
