| Details: | SUMMARY: Total Coliform + from sample date 7/7/09 DETAILS: Fred called this office and indicated that his sample that was taken the day before was positive and wasnt sure what to do. I let him know that they will need to take 4 repeat samples ASAP. I asked if any work had been done to the system and he said there had not been any. I let him know that if all repeats were negative to be sure to take 5 temp routines the next month. Fred said that someone had taken samples for chemicals on the same day that he took the coliform sample. He gave me the number to contact Lisa Nelson. She is a contractor for the EPA and had taken SOC,VOC & IOC samples. There is a old landfill within a half mile of the well that was not a legal dumpsite. She indicated that 4 wells were sampled. I asked if this office could be notified when they were out sampling any public water systems so if I received any calls I would be aware of the sampling. She said, she would. ACTION NEEDED: Monitor the repeats and follow up as necessary. | ||
