Details:	SUMMARY: Alert # COLI6578 DETAILS: Positive coliform tested, repeats all ok. Positive coliform samples found during 5 routines and 4 repeats. Five more routines must be taken in Sept. Letter mailed outlining disinfection procedures and public notice policy. 8/18/09 - Spoke to Mr. OConnor regarding the samples. He said, he found a broken sprinkler line in the system which may be contributing to the contamination. He isolated the line and closed it off. He also chlorinated and flushed the area. Two special samples were then taken to determine if the problem was resolved. He said, a sample had been taken at the wellhead and the sample was clean. He also said, a public notice was sent. Two special samples were taken after the pipe was repaired and they were negative. Five routines will be taken next month. ACTION NEEDED: Monitor to ensure follow-up samples taken and problem resolved. Contact if copy of public notice is not received.
