| Details: | SUMMARY: Seven Arsenic results below MCL submitted for 2008 to 2009. DETAILS: Scott Petterson (541-889-5405) of Lindsay Ecowater, Inc., out of Ontario has been maintaining the treatment system and taking Arsenic samples throughout the year when the school is in operation. All seven samples taken in 2008-2009 were below the MCL. The results were sent to the school but they apparently didn’t realize that the results should be submitted to the Drinking Water Program. Also, SDWIS shows an Arsenic result for a sample taken 7/23/07 that indicates 0.0558 mg/l. This sample was taken by staff from Malheur ESD before the treament unit was maintained and prior to the school opening in August. ACTION NEEDED: Arsenic results submitted to Data Management Unit in Portland for entry in SDWIS. Arsenic result from 7/23/07 should be invalidated since school was not operating. Also, school seasonal operating period changed to August 15 - May 31 and population changed to 54 based on discussion with school administrative staff. | ||
