| Details: | SUMMARY: Violation Investigagion ID#23238 Coliform M/R DETAILS: After a positive TC sample on 9/10/08 and 4 clear repeats on 9/12/08, this system submitted only one routine for October. Then on 11/21/08 there were 2 TC positive results. On 11/28/08, I called Pyxis lab to check on repeats. The lab confirmed that 4 repeats were taken on 11/25/08 and all were cleared. On 12/1/08, I called Ed Young to discuss the status of the system. Ed said, after the two bad ones on 11/21, he shocked the well and disinfected the reservoir and the main lines. He said, he plans to submit 5 routines in December. Since the 11/21 sample were essentially repeats from the TC positive in Sept. I told Ed he needed to do the Public Notice for Unresolved Coliform and send a copy to the DWP. He said, he already had don this. 4/27/09 Routine coliform samples for Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb and March have been taken and are all good. ACTION NEEDED: Take 5 routines in Dec. If they are all clear, issue a second Public Notice for Coliform Resolution then back to normal monitoring. | ||
