| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive coliform DETAILS: Spoke with Pat on site. They took 5 samples and 4 were good, including the well, but a sample taken at popeyes had a detection. I also looked at the disinfection equipment that was installed, 3 holding tanks, chlorinator, and 3 carbon filters. The carbon filters are to dechlor but Pat mentioned there is still a c12 residual, .1 or so, in the distribution. I mentioned that the state still needs a plan review submitted for the disinfection system. Pat mentioned they plan to drill a new well , could be up to 6 month, and use the existing well for fire suppression and as an emergency backup. I reminded Pat to take 4 repeat samples, including the well again and to take 5 routines in January. I also recommended to Pat that they provide a concrete slab and more protective housing for the well head. ACTION NEEDED: Follow up on plan review and monitoring. | ||
