Details: | USFS Tiller Ranger Station had a high result (0.0921 mg/L) for TTHM from their July 2020 sample. The operator explained that water usage is low causing the water age to be much older due to recent shutdown. The system will start implementing strategies to reduced the amount of aged water in the system by increasing flushing to weekly and changing the storage tank levels. The system will also determine if chlorine dosages can be lowered and still meet the required CT. Chemical schedule for the DBPs has been increased to quarterly, with testing in months November, February, April and July. If the system can maintain the LRAA of the DBPs below 0.06 mg/L for TTHM and 0.04 mg/L for HAA5, then system can go back to yearly monitoring. | ||
