| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive coliform DETAILS: 3 of 5 special routine samples came back positive. Spoke with Mark regarding follow up on January routine samples and next steps to be taken. Mark stated it is too high of a risk at this time to shock system by chlorination. They plan to wait a couple of months until egg development/fish hatching process is completed. Fish should be out of the building by the end of March or first week of April. They will continue public notice posting until routine samples 5 all return absent. In the mean time they will provide bottled water for employees until the public notice is removed. Public notice is posted at hatchery drinking fountain, sink in employee break room and at end of building where public requests water. Also, all staff was given letters notifying them of the tier 2 public notice. ACTION NEEDED: none | ||
