| Details: | SUMMARY: Called regarding violation postcard, I asked about well and gave sampling update DETAILS: Bob called after receiving a violation postcard for not reporting coliform bacteria in December 2009. I returned Bobs call and left a message that DWP has not received a coliform sample since September 2009. I notified him that the water system at Foster Lake RV Community is still required to sample for coliform bacteria and lead/copper. I also stated that they are now required to sample for disinfection byproducts because they are purchasing chlorinated water from Sweet Home, but added that these are now the only monitoring requirements for the system. I also requested information regarding the disposition of the well previously used for source water at the water system. We would like to know whether the well has been formally abandoned, or whether the system is continuing to maintain the well as an emergency source. ACTION NEEDED: Wait for a response regarding the status of the well at the system. | ||
