Details: Gene reported a routine total coliform positive sample collected on August 18th at the Daniel Road Sampling Station. Three repeat samples were collected in addition to triggered source samples from the following wells in use at the time of the coliform positive:
  • China Hat #1 (SRC-AA)
  • China Hat #2 (SRC-AB)
  • China Hat #3 (SRC-AC)
  • Riverbend Well #1 (SRC-BA)
  • Riverbend Well #3 (SRC-BC)
  • Tekampe Well A (SRC-GA)
  • Tekampe Well B (SRC-GB)
  • Parrell Rd Well (SRC-HA)
  • Deschutes River Woods Well #1 (SRC-IA)
  • Roats Well #10 Intertie (SRC-KA)

Gene notified DWS on August 20th that a repeat sample collected August 19th at the Daniel Road sampling site was total coliform positive. All other repeat and source samples collected the same day were absent. Gene requested invalidation of the Daniel Road sampling site as it does not represent water quality conditions and will remove the tap from their sampling plan.

On August 25th, invalidation of Daniel Rd site approved. Avion instructed to collect a replacement routine sample nd update coliform sampling plan.
