| Details: | I received an E-coli alert for a routine sample at Fort Hoskins on 8/20/20. I spoke to Shane Galloway. He indicated he was notified on 8/19 and had already submitted the repeat samples and the triggered source sample. We discussed sampling procedures and the location. A new staff member took the sample from a stand pipe style hose bib in the care takers yard. the stand pipe height is approximately four feet. The standpipe is not easily sanitized. Shane indicated he had sampled there in the past and also had issues. He does not sample there any longer. The lab report was listed as a kitchen sink sample. Other county park locations were sampled that day and the new staff wrote down the wrong location on the lab report. We discussed the coliform sampling plan and potential sample points available. The repeat distribution samples and triggered source sample are negative. The stand pipe will no loner be sampled. Shane was instructed to take three temporary routine samples in September. |
