| Details: | SUMMARY: Tracer Study Preliminary Visit DETAILS: The Water District has installed a new 60 gpm Westech Altpac membrane WTP. The new plant went on line in December 2008 and DWS-DWP has required a tracer study be conducted to complete the plan review process. I met with Dan to conduct a pre tracer study inspection to verify what equipment was installed chlorine injection system, sample taps, computer tracking/recording capability, storage tank plumbing configuration/effluent meter and pumping systems. Issues that I identified that must be resolved are: complete storage tank replumbing that is partially complete and installation of a low off on Hilltop Dr to create desired demand for the study. These will be completed prior to the study. I also explained how the study was conducted. I called Randy Reitz to discuss computer system, pump information and construction schedule. The distribution pump system has a maximum flow of 60 gpm-- therefore the study will be conducted at that flow. I contacted Casey Lyon, Department of Human Services-DWP and set up an appointment for 11/17/09 to discuss the CT procedure prior to the field study. ACTION NEEDED: Meet with DWP on 11/17/09 than conduct tracer study. | ||
