| Details: | Emailed Jim Purswell the following: Sorry Jim but you will be receiving a letter in the mail informing you that you will need to conduct a Level 1 investigation. This is due to the recent positive coliform sample and the State not receiving repeat sample results during the required time frame. I am aware that you were waiting for my reply to your inquiry and, sadly, I was out of the office for that entire week. Nevertheless, the State has some expectations on the water operator. Whenever the water operator learns of a positive coliform sample the State wants the water system to immediately refer to the coliform sampling plan and automatically follow the written protocol for repeat sampling. The letter specific to your water system can be found on page 7 of the attached document.
