| Details: | SUMMARY: Filter Media Evaluation DETAILS: The Bay Hill WA owns and operates a community water supply serving 19 connections and an estimated population of 50 persons. Water supply for the District comes from unnamed springs feeding a small reservoir. HBH was contacted by John MacKown in regard to additional steps to be taken due to results of the LT2 source water testing. It was requested by Mr MacKown that HBH look into what steps would be taken in the water system was to be classified into the Bin 4 category for treatment. I visited the water treatment plant to assess the condition of the facility, as well as determine the feasibility of installing additional treatment, such as a UV system. ACTION NEEDED: Provide recommendations to the CWS regarding steps to be taken if classification as a Bin 4 system. | ||
