| Details: | Misty contacted LCEH on 8/21/2020 with questions about a positive total coliform result.She said the system has been verified to be positive for total coliform at the source. A new well has been dug, but it is not yet ready for use. They have been doing 4-log chlorination for some time. The level of chlorine going in to the house is consistently 1.5 ppm. She was inquiring if any additional testing will be required. I called Misty back on 8/21/2020 to find out if this was a routine sample or an assessment sample and to discuss further. I left a message requesting a call back. NOTE: At time of contact, there was no alert in the system. Update: Now in SDWIS. This was a non-alert AS. Called and informed operator that no further action needs to be taken in addition to continuation of 4-log chlorination treatment and monitoring. |
