| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive coliform DETAILS: I spoke to Frances regarding the recent positive coliform result. She was not aware of the new source testing requirement. She was going to Water Lab in Salem on 1/19/10 to get sample containers to submit the required 4 repeat samples and was informed that one should be from the well head. The system does not have a sample tap on the well head but has a sample tap at the entry point. The system does not provide chlorine. She was informed of the requirement for five temporary routine samples to be submitted in February as well. We discussed the process if the repeat samples come back positive. She stated the system automatically shock chlorinated when they get a positive result. I told her to hold off on shock chlorinating until we see the results of the repeat samples. ACTION NEEDED: Wait for results of the repeat samples. | ||
