| Details: | I spoke with Mr. Lee and he stated the campground opened for someone that wanted to launch their boat from the marina. He said the chlorine pump recently failed and that he warned the camper not to drink the water but also said he is batch chlorinating based on the chlorine residual in his storage tank. He said he collected water tests when the system was opened and that some tests were positive for coliform. I reminded him a nitrate sample is required and that he must also record the chlorine residual every day and report these readings to Drinking Water Services. He said he keeps the chlorine residual readings in a log but doesn't report them. I said I would send him the proper form for reporting residuals. The chlorine feed pump is expected to be repaired this week. In a later talk with Angela Scott of Douglas County, she stated she talked with the park caretaker whom said the marina was opened on August 15 and has received some regular campers. |
