| Details: | SUMMARY: Alert for routine sample that tested positive for total coliform. DETAILS: Called Martin St Louis about the March 2, 2010 routine sample that tested positive for total coliform. He was aware of the result and already discussed the repeat sample process with the laboratory. Informed him that he needed to collect 4 repeat samples (1 w/in 5 connections upstream, 1 w/in 5 connections downstream, 1 at the original location and 1 at the source) and if results are absent for coliform then 5 temporary routine samples the following month. He was familiar with the resample process and would collect the samples next Monday. He ships the samples by mail so he is not able to collect the samples on Friday since there is no mail service on Saturday. Also, discussed proper sample locations since his routine was collected from a swivel faucet in the kitchen. Emailed information about dedicated sample stations. ACTION NEEDED: Collect 4 repeat samples, 1 w/in 5 connections upstream, 1 w/in 5 connections downstream, 1 at the original location and 1 at the source. If results are absent for coliform then 5 temporary routine samples the following month. | ||
