| Details: | SUMMARY: Arsenic DETAILS: Brian is currently obtaining estimates to replace the treatment system at Sunnyside. During the process, they samples for arsenic , not required sample as their requirement has been satisfied. The sample came back at 0.024ppm, MCL is 0.01ppm. Brian was concerned about the level and wanted to know what the requirements were. I explained that as a transient system they have already met their arsenic sampling requirement, 0.05ppm in 1983 when the MCL way 0.05ppm and we would not require treatment but would recommend it if it is economically feasible. They will look into the cost of treating the whole park. At a minimum they will provide point of use treatment at the rangers residence as they live there year round. I provided them with the health effects fact sheet for arsenic to give to the range. ACTION NEEDED: none | ||
