| Details: | SUMMARY: Coliform alert DETAILS: Site visit to determine what happened. Met with Trent at his residence. Mike Lang is no longer system operator. Trent has assumed the job. Trent told me the reason they failed is because the chlorinator had stopped working. The resident that had taken the sample had not taken a chlorine reading prior to sampling. I gave Trent a letter dated 1/14/10 outlining the procedure to follow when his system has a positive sample. We also discussed the boil water notice. I gave Trent a template for him to use. He said he would do it ASAP. He will also take repeat samples first chance next week since the lab does not take samples late in the week. ACTION NEEDED: Await results | ||
