Details:	Background/Problem Identification: The district needs help in mitigation of their ongoing DBP issue. The circuit rider has worked with OHS/DWS in an effort to find a cost-effective solution to CCE’s DBP problem. This solution of adding a UV sterilization system for disinfection and utilizing the chloramine that is already in the water from CBNB was proposed. OHA has given an informal approval of the methods proposed, but the water system is looking for funding assistance to purchase the UV system. Assistance Provided: The circuit rider has worked with Wyatt Rutherford of CCE and has submitted an LOI for an SDWRLF loan to purchase and install the proposed UV system. Please see the attached LOI for further details. Follow-Up Actions Needed: The circuit rider can provide follow-up assistance on the actual loan application if desired.
