| Details: | SUMMARY: SDWRLF Assistance DETAILS: The City of Astoria owns and operates a Surface Water System that supplies residents through 3,800 connections. This includes several outside water systems. The City treats water from two creek sources through a 4-cell slow sand filter. The City is seeking to change disinfection systems, as well as add a clearwell for better operation of the slow sand filter system. HBH was contacted by Mr Brodie to provide assistance with completion of a Litter of Interest (LOI) for the SDWRLF. I reviewed the City’s plan for the clearwell for general adequacy and reviewed and modified the cost estimates that had been completed by the City. I provided direction for the proper completion of the LOI. ACTION NEEDED: None at this time. | ||
