| Details: | SUMMARY: Response to VOC and SOC detects in 1st Q 2010 DETAILS: Spoke to Derrick about well #6 detects of PCE & TCE both below MCLs, (well off-line since dec 08)-- and detection of PCE at well #5-- City not planning on using well #6. I indicated compliance determined by running annual average of last 4 quarters averages. Well #5 is being used, and City working with GSI to seal off portion of aquifer with contamination from well. New well #9 being purged and will be on-line soon - #5 will then be a standby well. ACTION NEEDED: City to continue quarterly monitoring of both PCE and TCE at well #6 and yearly during 1st quarter for PCE at well #5. City to keep DWP in loop on planned use of well #9. DWP to provide support as long as detects continue. | ||
