| Details: | The Greater Avion water system triggered into completing two 6-month rounds of lead and copper sampling at the standard number of sites in May 2020 when the new China Hat #3 Well was approved. The China Hat #3 Well is about 200 feet from an existing well China Hat #2. To demonstrate that adding this new well would have minimal impact on corrosivity of drinking water, water quality parameters were collected from new well, China Hat #2 Well and other Avion wells for comparison. The data summary was received via email on August 3rd and analytical reports on August 17th. The water quality parameters for the two China Hat wells is comparable indicating that adding the new water source would have no significant effect on corrosion potential. Lead and copper sampling will return to every third year at the reduced number of sites starting in 2021. |
