| Details: | SUMMARY: City is planning UV treatment for surface supply to meet LT2. DETAILS: The City has hired HDR Engineers (David Keil) to design ultraviolet treatment system for the surface supply. Gary had questions about the cost of design, but I suggested design cost may be high because of the required validation process for UV. I referred Gary to Dave Peters (503-823-2003) with Portland Water Bureau since Dave may have detailed information about validation and the UV validation facility in Portland. ACTION NEEDED: City to submit plans to DWP when completed. | ||
