| Details: | SUMMARY: Coliform Positive Assistance DETAILS: Mr Stallard contacted HBH for help with Coliform positives. Currently the system serves 250 people through 109 connections. Water is fed from an 8” well to different reservoirs and ultimately to the customers. I previously met with Mr Stallard at the well to visually inspect the well head and well house and discussed various methods by which Coliform could be introduced into the water system. I recommended sealing open spaces at the top of the well head and that better disinfection of drawdown testing equipment be followed. We discussed proper sampling techniques with water system operator, although it appears that the water system is following good practices in this regard. I reviewed well logs to determine that the well is properly sealed, and reviewed historical data from the water system. I summarized recommendations for the water system..
