| Details: | SUMMARY: Tracer Study Preliminary Visit DETAILS: The Water District has installed a new 60 gpm Westech Altapac Membrane WTP. The new plant went on line in December 2008 and DWP has required a tracer study be conducted to complete the plan review process. I met with Casey Lyon and Fred Kalish to discuss the CT study procedure that is planned for the District. I met with Dan Reitz in October to conduct a preliminary inspection of the system to verify sampling points, flow records. WTP operation, etc. The distribution pump system has a maximum flow of 60 gpm-- therefore the study will be conducted at that low creating a demand on the system through an open blow off or hydrant. The study will be conducted after the storage tank plumbing modification is complete. ACTION NEEDED: Conduct CT Study. | ||
