| Details: | South Coast has an online pH meter which records pH every 6 seconds. The reported value is the average for the day. However, data collected when there are maintenance activities were not excluded from calculating the average. There is no clear understanding of why the pH would have dropped, though it could be due to partially blocked flow, inherent issues with the meter, or large variations in source water pH (e.g. algal growth). | ||
