| Details: | SUMMARY: setting reduces schedule for Rad 226/228 DETAILS: Mark forwarded Ice Fountains 4th quarter sample of Radium 226/228 to me on 4/23/10. Sample taken on 3/11/00 was ND. Given 4 quarters of data for constituent, with three NDs and a detect, I discussed that the average of the initial data was below the reporting limit for the constituent from the lab (0.2 pico Curies per liter). The NDs are assigned zero for averaging purposes as per OAR 333-061-0036 (7)İİ(v), p. 177 of 2009 rules. Given the average below reporting limit, I am assigning a nine year reduced schedule for Rad 226/228. Next due is nine years from last sample, or 2019. ACTION NEEDED: Ice Fountain to take next round of Radium 226/228 in 2019. James to establish monitoring schedule on SDWIS: nine year schedule. | ||
