| Details: | SUMMARY: follow up to TC positive sample DETAILS: The system had a positive sample and on 4/22, Joe and JR Lattin chlorinated the system by pushing chlorinated water back up the pipe and letting it sit for an hour. Once the residual was down to a low level, the fountain was re-opened. Further discussion about the site revealed it is a roadside fountain with very low, if any, people drinking the water. It was decided to inactivate the system based on population. ACTION NEEDED: DWP to inactivate the system and ODOT to remove the drinking water sign from the highway. | ||
