Details: SUMMARY: Follow up on residential sewage disposal complaint DETAILS: Cancy Cates, PH Duty officer called regarding OERS report 2010-928. Private citizen at 15061 South Hattan Road (at 503 730-1863) in Oregon City complains of neighbor pumping sewage into hole in ground on property. Property on map appears to be over 1000 feet away from the Clackamas River, and downstream users (Clack River Water) on emergency spill maps for Clackamas County are about 3-4 miles downstream. DEQ Kimberlee Patton- as well as Clackamas Countys Water Environment Servicess Andrew Swanson have been notified and are following up on complaint. The complaint is limited to the immediate residential area and unlikely to impact the surface water intake three miles downstream. ACTION NEEDED: No downstream surface water users were impacted/notified. Pete F.-DWP notified - Clackamas County DWP contact. DEQ and WES Clackamas County following up on sewage disposal complaint. DWP to offer support to lead agencies if any potential drinking water implications to nearby public systems.
