Details:	SUMMARY: Well Pump Troubleshooting DETAILS: The City operates a groundwater system with 4 wells. The water system serves 380 people through 175 connections. Currently the primary well for the City is having difficulties in meeting its original design flow rate. The well was installed in 2002. In addition to not meeting design flows, the well pump fails on an average of once every two hours. The well is pumping out a high amount of gravel. I visited water system to discuss the problems, as well as construction of the primary well. Pulled well log and reviewed construction as-builts drawings. Contacted well construction and rehabilitation specialist, including Welenco, for advice about the potential and solutions. ACTION NEEDED: Recommended that the City contact a geologist for assistance with the well issue. HBH will assist City with the coordination of this effort.
