| Details: | SUMMARY: Reservoir Recommendations Assistance DETAILS: System has 126 connections that serve 300 people. The system consists of 4 wells, 3 of which are in operation, and 2 concrete reservoirs. The smaller of the two reservoirs is 40,000 gallons and the larger reservoir is 60,000 gallons. Well #3 and #4 connect directly into the distribution system. Well #1 has a dedicated line to the reservoir and well #2 has been capped. HBH was contacted by Crook County due to intermittent positive coliform results. During discussions with the water system, assistance was requested in determining the amount if additional storage (as well as a preliminary budget) that would be needed to provide for fire protection. Sized additional reservoir storage needed to provide for recommended fire flows. Developed cost estimates for glass-fused to steel and concrete reservoirs. Completed report, integrating previous coliform recommendations to provide documentations, to provide documentation of reservoir recommendations. ACTION NEEDED: None needed at this time. | ||
