| Details: | SUMMARY: System Consolidation Investigation DETAILS: Water system has struggled with an aging treatment plant. Their water source is an intake of Cow Creek. This is a difficult source to treat. Complicating things is a lack of trained full-time staff for the water system. The CWS had previously requested a simple, cost-effective water treatment that can effectively treat the Cow Creek water. After some investigation by the water system, it was determined that connection to the City of Riddle water systems may be more appropriate solution for the long term needs of the Lawson Acres customers. The system requested that HBH assist with a cost estimate to connect the Lawson Acres system to the Riddle water system. I met with water system personnel on site and toured potential pipeline route from Riddle to Lawson Acres. Reviewed the physical viability of the pipeline connection. Provided Lawson Acres with an approximate cost to connect to Riddle’s system. ACTION NEEDED: Assist water system with funding application if requested. | ||
