| Details: | SUMMARY: Arsenic Exceeding MCL DETAILS: System operates a small distribution system that serves 31 connections and approximately 45 people. The system is composed of a single well that feeds into a small treatment system to remove particulates and other elements before the distribution system. The existing treatment consists of a water softening system followed by activation carbon. The moorage distribution system feeds docked houseboats and boats. The system has exceeded the MCL for Arsenic. HBH was contacted to provide assistance with developing a treatment system or other strategy to deal with the arsenic issue. I recommended a testing regime to determine proper arsenic removal strategy. ACTION NEEDED: Assist system with the selection of arsenic removal strategy. | ||
