Details:	SUMMARY: Tracer Study Preliminary Visit DETAILS: System has recently installed and put into operation a new membrane WTP replacing the existing package treatment plant. The DWP is required a chlorine contact time tracer study as the flow has increased greater than 10%. A new 3.0 MG clearwell was constructed for contact time and an effluent flow meter was installed after the clearwell and three new variable flow demand service pumps were installed. I met with Mike to conduct a preliminary review of plant facilities, sampling locations, SCADA personnel on Feb 10 to review and approve my CT study protocol. There is a high probability that several hours of chlorine contact time will occur through the entire clearwell if it filled to capacity based on theoretical calculations. Additional information is needed from the city to determine clearwell operating levels and historical data from the SCADA system. DWP personnel want to conduct the study with all 3 HS pumps operating (~3500 gpm) and a low clearwell levels to simulate a worst case scenario. ACTION NEEDED: Conduct tracer study.
