| Details: | SUMMARY: Boil water notice for power outage DETAILS: Philomath lost power due to a windstorm 5/19/10 Wednesday night for ~90 minutes from 5-6:45 pm. This caused the pressure at ~6-8 homes in Starlight Village to drop to 0 and others to drop below 20 psi. Philomath shut off meterstops to the 30 homes in Starlight Village, issued a boil water notice to customers, flushed, took chlorine residuals (0.5-0.6 mg/L), and took a coliform sample. The coliform sample, result received on Friday 5/21/10, was absent. Philomath will notify the 30 homes today that they no longer need to boil their water. ACTION NEEDED: Philomath will remove boil water notice today. | ||
