| Details: | SUMMARY: Nitrate Alert Response DETAILS: Received alert for nitrate result of 20.1 mg/L from sample collected 5/26/10. A survey of the water system was conducted 5/19/10. The public notice requirement was covered during the survey. A public notice for nitrate exceedance was distributed on 5/25/10 as a follow up to the nitrate sample collected 3/31. ACTION NEEDED: System to sample for nitrate quarterly, investigate options for treatment or obtaining new source. No public notice for the 5/26 sample is required as the customers just received one. | ||
