| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive coliform and Ecoli DETAILS: Owner was issued boil water notice. She posted at entrances and at bathrooms. We discussed sampling requirements. She stated that repeats have been taken. I notified owner that additional special sampling must be conducted and at least 2 consecutive clean negative test results must occur before consideration would be given to lifting boil water notice. Chlorination and sample testing in house was discussed. Owner has been using high amount of 2.5% bleach solution for chlorination. The test kit at the facility was for pool testing. Advised owner to purchase proper chlorine DPD test kit & test for chlorine residual daily. Owner has began boiling water for general cleaning. Bottled water and bagged ice is used for consumption. Boiled water is used for hand washing. A three compartment dish wash station was set up for washing dishes. Owner stated that as much as possible , disposable dishes will be used to minimize dish washing. Owner stated that they have approached Forest Grove water district to connect to public water and were denied. ACTION NEEDED: none | ||
