| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive coliforms DETAILS: Contacted Mauro and he indicated the system had been disinfected and flushed prior to taking the temporary routine sampling. He indicated he will re disinfect the system and bring the chlorine level higher than the first time and re flush the system. I let him know they need to have 5 temporary routine samples in June. I also recommended taking a special sample after he disinfects & flushes the system. If the coliform positive samples persist it may be necessary to review the construction of the well. It also may be necessary to add UV or chlorination. Mauro indicated that there has been no work to the system that would cause the presence of coliform. ACTION NEEDED: Monitor follow up samples and respond if necessary. | ||
