| Details: | SUMMARY: GWR source assessment sample E.coli positive DETAILS: Joe Duncan will take 5 required confirmation samples at the source. The John Day River near the source well has been running high for several days. In previous months the source samples have shown just total coliform present. The system has chlorination treatment and far exceeds the required CT for 4-log viral inactivation because the well pumps directly to the 100,000 gallon reservoir through 4000 ft. of 6 in. pipe (5,800 gal volume) prior to entering distribution system. Chlorine residuals in system range 0.3-0.6 mg/l. ACTION NEEDED: Five confirmation samples to be taken at source the week of June 14. | ||
