| Details: | SUMMARY: Evaluation of presence of surface water DETAILS: Talked with Ian Holmquist with Hood County about the occurrence of surface water near the spring. He stated that the there is a stream and an underground pipe that travel downstream from the spring collection area. The pipe goes to a springbox ~100 ft away and the stream goes to a pond next to the springbox. There is no surface water upstream of the spring collection area. Therefore, given that the stream and the spring appear to surface at the same elevation, and that no E. coli has been detected at the source, this system does not need to be evaluated for GWUDI. ACTION NEEDED: No action needed. | ||
