Details:	SUMMARY: Positive coliform DETAILS: Ongoing positive coliform issues. In April system had a leak detection service come to the property and no leaks were detected other than an interior toilet at a home which was repaired. A survey was conducted 5/12/10. The storage tank is weeping on the east side. I spoke to Amy in the Springfield office and explained that the operator was trying to schedule a tank cleaning and repair with Liqua Vision. She indicated that it will be up to the system to decide the appropriated course of action with regards to tank cleaning and testing or to install chlorine for residual maintenance. I discussed with Frances the need to submit a public notice for May. Chuck suggested that I work with the system to develop a public notice for April and May and he would work with me to see if that would be sufficient to not cause the system to receive a violation. Chuck stated to get this to him ASAP. I spoke to Frances about the public notice issue and told her I would contact her on June 1st when she returned from the holiday weekend. I also discussed the need to take five temporary routine samples in June and also a source sample would also be required. I will work with her to ensure the source sample is properly labeled. A source sample was taken as part of the five temporary routines in April. However it was listed as distribution. Chuck stated to have the system request to have the sample changed to a source sample. A total of six samples should have been received one being labeled as a source sample and five as distribution. ACTION NEEDED: Continue to work with system until the problem is resolved. Make contact with Frances on June 1st to develop the public notice.
