| Details: | SUMMARY: CT Tracer Study DETAILS: The City owns and operates a surface water system that provides water to 4,200 people through 1,800 connections. Water from Rink Creek and the Coquille River is treated by a conventional water treatment plant prior to disinfection with sodium hypochlorite. HBH was contacted by DWP to provide assistance with a contact tracer study to determine the amount of contact time in the reservoirs before the first user. Complicating this study is the determination of the actual first user as water leaving the treatment plant flows to four different locations. I visited the system to determine methodology for the completion of contact tracer study. Began collection of information needed to determine what conditions must be tested. ACTION NEEDED: Perform tracer testing. Testing will likely require more than one day. | ||
