| Details: | SUMMARY: Lead AL Exceedance and BDP MCL RAA Exceedance DETAILS: System has exceeded lead levels in most recent sampling round (2009) and exceeded the MCL for both TTHM and HAA5 levels for the RAA. They requested HBH for assistance for both issues. I met with Dave, Jeff (OMI), Monroe Mayor, Council President and Administrator on March 31. I reviewed and explained results, public health implications, corrosion causes, and DBP formation and causes. I also discussed several approaches to solve each issue and operational changes that may help in lowering elevated levels. I initiated review of test results and potential action plan for each issue. I left voice mail for Amy Parmenter, DWP, with brief overview of meeting. ACTION NEEDED: Develop action plans for reducing lead and DBP results. In the future, each issue will be dealt with in a separate CR. Contact Amy Parmenter to discuss action plans. | ||
