| Details: | SUMMARY: Failing chlorine pump DETAILS: Visit made 6/5/10 following positive Ecoli. Visited chlorine pump with Bill & observed the tube between the tank of hypochlorite & the pump contained numerous air bubbles that we speculated prevented chlorine from entering system. We observed the pump trying to work several times but saw no change in bubbles or fluid movement through intake tube. Attempted priming tube and pump only to see that fluid failed to hold in tube & allowed more air into tube. The make and model of the pump was recorded to see if I could find a technical service number for Bill to call. Discussed the possible need to change out the pump if it could not be put into working order in immediate future. On 6/6/10 called Bill & left message with the phone number of the chlorine pump manufacturer, found on the web, to seek advice. Also suggested using vinegar to clean off precipitate on hypochlorite intake tube. On 6/7/10 called Bill and confirmed he had received my message from previous day. He said it had been received and he was planning on calling soon. ACTION NEEDED: none | ||
